Questions
Frequently asked questions
Does payment guarantee admission?
No. Fees cover the application review or member service plan. Every applicant must pass the same checks.
Can members browse every institution or programme?
No. Agencies see only the opportunities that match their approved markets and services. Providers decide when their name and programme details are shown.
Are institution and agency names public?
No. EducationB2B does not publish a member directory. An organisation may choose to make a specific status record public.
What does Preferred mean?
Preferred means that an organisation has passed the checks for the services and markets shown in its profile. The status is reviewed and cannot be bought.
Is CIEA an organisation approval?
No. CIEA is a professional credential for an individual advisor. The advisor and the organisation have separate requirements.
How are opportunities matched?
We first check the provider’s non-negotiable requirements. We then compare the agency’s markets, student experience, services, team and available capacity.
When is an identity disclosed?
The provider sets the sharing rules for each opportunity. Names are normally shown after the basic requirements line up or after both sides express interest.
Are commissions published?
No. Providers share their commercial terms only with approved users for a specific opportunity. EducationB2B does not publish commission comparisons or set a common rate.
Can an emerging agency apply?
Yes, where the principals, advisors, references and operating plan meet the non-negotiable requirements. Initial access may be limited while the agency builds a longer record.
Are sub-agents permitted?
Only when the agency declares them and the provider allows them. Undisclosed sub-agent activity may lead to restricted access or loss of status.
How long does membership last?
Membership runs for the period stated in the member agreement. Members must report important changes and complete the scheduled renewal review.
Can a decision be appealed?
Some decisions can be appealed. The decision notice states the deadline, what can be appealed and how to submit the appeal. A different person or panel reviews it.
Does a match guarantee a partnership?
No. A match means the basic requirements line up. Both organisations still decide whether to continue, carry out further checks and sign an agreement.
Does membership protect commission payments?
Standard membership records commercial terms and relationship activity but does not provide escrow, insurance or a general payment guarantee.
How is private information protected?
Accounts can see only the records needed for their role and current partnership stage. Access to sensitive information is logged.
