Certified Education Counsellor
How counsellor certification works
- Certification belongs to the individual, not the organisation.
- Organisation membership does not automatically certify every counsellor.
- Certification does not automatically open every programme, contact or commercial term.
- Certification is a platform professional record, not a government licence.
- The standard certification period is 3–6 months. A final unsuccessful decision triggers a full refund of the certification fees paid, subject to the published rules.
Confirm identity and affiliation
Verify the counsellor’s identity, contact details, organisation and current service role.
Complete required learning
Complete the Foundation, Destination and Programme training required for the intended markets and programmes.
Pass the assessment
Demonstrate understanding of programme information, applications, service boundaries, data use and compliance.
Receive a digital certificate
Successful counsellors receive a publicly verifiable certificate with a fixed validity period and annual CPD requirements.
Training formats
Ways to learn
Online courses
Foundation, Destination and Programme learning completed around the team’s business needs.
Live workshops
Interactive sessions on application records, visa documents, scholarships, programme changes and real cases.
Programme training
Provider-led briefings on curriculum, entry requirements, applications, SLAs, student support and recruitment rules.
Events and campus visits
Partnership meetings, roadshows, campus visits and FAM Trips that connect learning with real delivery settings.
Access boundaries
What training does not authorise
- Completing training does not automatically grant permission to promote every programme.
- Programme information, brands, commission and contacts remain subject to provider authority, market eligibility and membership level.
- People without the required qualification must not provide regulated immigration, legal or other professional advice.
- Training records may support programme access, certification and membership progression, but cannot buy ranking or partnership opportunities.
